He is Manager of the Roswell and Carlsbad locations of United Blood Services. The territory his office services includes most of SENM from Loving/Carlsbad to Logan/Tucumcari to Corona/Carrizozo/Ruidoso/Cloudcroft and all areas in between.
In addition to his service with United Blood Services, Mr. Parker currently sits on the National Board of the Texas Tech Alumni Association, Imperium Development, a land development group, Parker Brothers Homes / Pecos Valley Commercial, a residential/commercial/industrial contractor, and the Roswell Gridiron (Hike It and Spike It, the nation’s largest flag football tournament). He also serves as a Chaplain for Forgotten Saints – A Ministry To The Elderly (based in Dallas), Immediate Past President of the Texas Tech Alumni Association of Southeastern New Mexico, and is a consultant to numerous private and public organizations.
He is a 1989 graduate of Roswell High, a 1994 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Environmental Engineering (1996). While in graduate school, Tim worked on research at the Pantex Nuclear Weapons Plant and taught a computer engineering course. He is a Texas Licensed Professional Engineer and New Mexico Licensed GB-98 Contractor, and has served as an expert witness and counsel for engineering and construction related litigation.
His past service has included 11 years as a kickboxing / aerobics instructor having developed programs in two countries and 6 facilities, and a Domestic Violence Intervention Counselor with The Refuge for Battered Adults.
Tim is excited, honored, and humbled to serve D5520 as Governor for 2010-11.
Tim has one son Joshua (4) and a daughter Grace Ann (2)
