President Emily introduced member Libby, who was kind brave enough to share her life history with us.

She first saw the light of day in Phoenix, AZ & spent a while in Mesa, AZ; she has two brothers. Elizabeth studied art history & then managed medical offices. She then attended college again to study graphic design. Santa Fe was another stop, then to Minneapolis followed by a mission & school in Thoreau, NM. That’s when she met Judy (printing) and formed a 20 year relationship… Then to ABQ & is a founding member of our Rotary Club.

At this point in time, President Emily mentioned that we have received a letter of thanks from the RGFP for folding all of their event’s shirts.

Horizons ABQ also sent us a letter of thanks for our Club donation which will provide guitars for their students. They’ll be holding a fall gathering on Sunday, 17 October to thank all of their benefactors. Festivities will run from 3PM to 5PM.Location: Manzano Day School, 1801 Central Ave. NW. RSVP to Sandy by 10 October, at (915) 478-2466 or SDonaldson72747@gmail.com

We also received a card from Ronald McDonald House, thanking us for our ongoing donation of those aluminum pop top can tabs.
